Information Technology - Stutsman County

The Information Technology Department provides County departments with technology solutions and support. The Department strives to provide timely support, and stable technology systems to address the needs of various County departments; so they can in turn provide Stutsman County residents with vital services.

Josh Smaage was hired as the County’s Director of Information Technology in December, 2007. He is responsible for installing, supporting and maintaining computer systems, servers, network and all IT infrastructure for the Stutsman County Courthouse and the Law Enforcement Center, Human Services and other outlying County departments, as well as City Hall (City of Jamestown).  Smaage was awarded 2014 IT Innovator of the Year by the Information Technology Council of North Dakota for his work on the County’s website. Jason Linz was hired as the IT Assistant in May, 2016.
